I'm a Bay Area-based advisor, administrator, teacher, editor, and researcher. As Program Director of Cardinal Careers in the Haas Center for Public Service at Stanford University, I help students and alumni explore and apply to fellowships and jobs in public service. I have 10+ years experience writing, editing, teaching, advising, researching, and performing administrative duties in higher education and nonprofit settings. My hobbies and passions include sewing, knitting, singing, photography, field recording, gardening, archiving, drawing, and hearing about others' hobbies.
I am also a doctoral candidate in musicology at Northwestern University. My dissertation studies practitioners of musical experimentalism in 1970s California, their pursuit of musical novelty in the Cold War era, their earnest integration of New Age thought into the study of music, and the influence of philanthropic funding organizations on their music. While at Northwestern, I have designed and taught four undergraduate music history courses.
